Why there is no music library
In short
KinoLap has no song library because songs need licences that an app like this can't get yet. Keep your clip's own sound, or add a song in Instagram or TikTok when you post.
Why
Streaming services don't allow other apps to copy their songs into a video. Using a popular song in a video you export needs separate licences from the publisher and the label, for each country. That is not possible for us at launch.
What you can do
- Keep the sound of your own clip. If you use a background video, its sound stays in the export. Change the volume or mute it in the Video tab.
- Add a song when you post. Instagram and TikTok have their own sound libraries. Export a silent video, then pick a song in the app. This also keeps the song licensed.
