Use Apple Health workouts
In short
KinoLap reads your workouts and their routes from Apple Health and never writes to it. Allow Workouts and Workout Routes. A workout with no route makes a video without a map.
Connect
- Open Profile › Sources and tap Connect Apple Health.
- iOS shows a list. Turn on Workouts and Workout Routes. Heart rate, distance, cadence and power are optional and add stats.
- If iOS asks how far back to read, choose All Recorded Data so older runs show up.
- Open the Activities tab.
What KinoLap does with it
It only reads. It never writes to Apple Health, and your health data stays on the phone. You can change access any time in iPhone Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › KinoLap, or in the Health app: tap your picture, then Apps, then KinoLap.
Workouts without a map
A workout makes a map video only when its route reached Apple Health. Workouts without a route are listed too, and the video shows stats and charts without a map. If workouts are missing, see Health workouts are missing or have no map.
